The worldwide consumption of chocolate every year is estimated to be at least 7.2 million metric tons.

1 metric tons=1000kg, 7.2 metric tons=7,200,000,000kg annually.

With 7.7 billion people in this world now, it means each of us eats about 1kg of chocolate per year! WOW!

Chocolate comes in four main types, Milk, White, Dark and Unsweetened. However, with many new creative inventions, many flavours have been created, such as strawberry, matcha, coffee and more. There is also dairy free and sugar free chocolate which is made specially for people who cannot take normal chocolate due to health or other various reason.

Rather than the common circle or bar shape, they come in different shapes such as seahorse, bunny, heart and more. They are also use for other uses, such as chocolate flavoured beverages, coating and filling for desserts and confectionary ingredients.
